The project
A studio to be fully reorganised into a real two-room apartment. The first step was a complete clearance of the kitchen, bathroom, ceilings and existing furniture, before rethinking the apartment's layout.
To create the second room, I built a new partition wall and fitted a door. The insulation and ceilings were fully redone, with recessed spotlights installed, and the whole apartment was then repainted with special care given to the window-frame finishing.
The bathroom was completely transformed: the old bathtub gave way to a walk-in shower with a glass door, in a modern matte black finish. A new vanity unit with a linen cupboard was installed, and the kitchen was fully replaced with a brand-new one.
Regulated electrical and plumbing connections were carried out in coordination with licensed professionals.
